Which steps are involved in the workflow of a 3D hologram animation?

The development of a holographic representation is divided into four steps:

  1. The idea

The first step is always the client’s briefing. What product, service or process is it about, what is the message, what are the USPs and where should the 3D hologram be used.

Based on the briefing, we develop the holographic concept: What is the optimal hardware? What can the setting for the hologram look like? Which visualisations enhance the eye-catching effect? We coordinate all this with the client on an ongoing basis.

  2. The storyboard

The storyboard describes and visualises the individual sequences and contents of the 3D hologram. In text and image form, it forms the stage directions for the creation of the hologram. After approval by the client, the 3D designers and motion designers get to work.

  3. The content-produktion

3D models are built, or CAD data provided by the customer is imported and then photorealistically textured and set in the right light by the 3D designers. After detailed 3D programming with holographic effects, the storyboard becomes a first preview.

  4. The finish

Always to the end and to full customer satisfaction. In post-production, final changes and the final lighting are implemented. Once the customer is happy, the finished film is saved on the SD card and inserted into the Holoco media technology—ready for dispatch.
